Keith Lee Says Face-Off With Brock Lesnar In 2020 Royal Rumble He Was Right Where He Belonged

In the 2020 men's Royal Rumble Match, Keith we had an intense moment when he stared off with Brock Lesnar. Brock was so impressed by the stature and presence of Lee that he could be heard asking Paul Heyman who Keith was with the same excitement of an adrenaline junkie faced with a new feat of bravery.

Recently speaking with SuperSport, Keith Lee spoke about this moment inside the Royal Rumble, saying that when he got over the initial shock of having 42,000 people excited to see him, he knew he was right where he belonged when he was face-to-face with Brock Lesnar.

“In that moment it felt like that was where I was supposed to be,” Keith began. “Even though I feel like it was slightly unexpected the reaction that I got from 42,000 people. They really wanted Keith Lee to show out. They got something special in my opinion. Maybe in the future, there is a chance that there is Keith Lee versus Brock Lesnar in a one on one match. I feel like I’m one of the few that can go toe to toe with him. Hopefully, that can come to fruition.”

For now, Lee will have to wait as he's still a member of the NXT roster. Currently the NXT North American Champion, Keith Lee's next task will be a Triple Threat title defense against both Damian Priest and Dominik Dijakovic on April 1.
