Kelani Jordan Feels She & Kendal Grey Should Main Event Heatwave Over Men’s NXT Title Match
Kelani Jordan speaks about what she thinks should be the main event.
Coming up for WWE’s NXT brand is the Heatwave Premium Live Event on August 30th in Edinburg, Texas.
One of the advertised bouts is Kendal Grey defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Kelani Jordan. Going into the bout, Jordan stopped by Off The Ropes for a chat and was asked if her and Grey’s match should main event over the men’s NXT Title match.
“I personally don’t know who’s the main event, but it should be me and Kendal (Grey), of course.” Jordan continued, “Well, one, because, I mean you heard Grayson (Waller) say it, the women are dominating NXT and who wouldn’t wanna see two beautiful, athletic women go at it for the top title? This match is very highly anticipated so, it should be the main event. Sorry guys!”
The men’s NXT Title match will be a Fatal 4-Way featuring Tony D’Angelo defending against Zilla Fatu, Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller.
