Ken Anderson (Mr. Kennedy) On Gable Steveson: I Don’t Think He Loves The Wrestling Business
Ken Anderson talks Gable Steveson.
When the news of Steveson signing with WWE broke in late 2021, the wrestling world was quite optimistic about his future in the sport.
Following his debut in the summer of 2023, Steveson’s reputation quickly sank. In May 2024, he was released from WWE, ending his stint in the wrestling business for now.
In a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Ken Anderson talked about Steveson’s lack of success in the industry. For those who are unaware, Anderson was one of Steveson’s main trainers before signing with WWE.
“I don’t think that he loves the wrestling business. I mean, WWE has done the NIL thing for a while. I remember back when, I think when I was there, there was always these rumors that WWE is only taking guys that are six foot one or taller. Then for a while, they wouldn’t take anybody that had independent experience. I just think the guys who are successful love this.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Anderson commented on his in-ring future. Check out his full comments on the matter by clicking here.
Back in March, Steveson revealed that he’s currently being mentored by Jon Jones. Click here to learn more.
