Ken Shamrock On Potential WWE Return: I Wouldn't Say No, But It'd Have To Make Sense

Ken Shamrock talks about a potential future with WWE and why, although he doesn't rule out, he's not holding his breath for a potential return of any kind.

Ken Shamrock is one of a handful of individuals that helped kick-start the WWE Attitude Era. Coming into the World Wrestling Federation at WrestleMania 13 as the referee in a Submission Match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart, Ken Shamrock would stay with WWE for nearly three years and be a major part of storylines while picking up championship belts along the way.

It has been more than two decades since Ken Shamrock was a part of the active WWE roster and speaking with Steve Fall on The Ten Count, Ken Shamrock was asked about the possibility of future involvement with WWE in any capacity. Ken first stated that a return inside the squared circle is likely in the rearview mirror.

“I think at this point in my career, we’re past those," said Ken.

Asked about maybe having to run as a manager or trainer, Shamrock responded by saying that he would have to evaluate any potential offer and see if it made sense. He also noted that he's very busy with other projects right now, especially Valor Bare Knuckle (VBK), his bare-knuckle boxing company.

"You know, like I said, not that I would say no. Obviously, I’d have to look and make sure it was the right thing. It’d have to make sense, right? So yeah, of course, if that was to come around, it made sense, yeah. But right now, man, I’ve got so much going on that we have planned. There’s gonna be a lot of stuff happening."

In his career with WWE, Ken Shamrock wrestled the likes of Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, and The Rock.

The Rock, among others, was happy to send in a video congratulating Ken Shamrock on his induction into the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2020. Learn more about that here.
