Doane is best known for his run as Kenny, a member of the Spirit Squad in WWE from 2005-2006 before breaking off into a singles career until his 2008 release. He returned to WWE in 2016 alongside fellow Spirit Squad member Mikey (Mike Mondo) for a brief run.

He is a former WWE World Tag Team Champion.

Doane wrote on social media, "I’ve decided to retire from in ring wrestling. When I started at 13 I thought I’d retire at 40. But smart investments overtime have allowed me to be done now. I’m in my prime, and that will go towards my family and being a father. Thanks to the fans who stuck by me."

He last wrestled at Beyond Wrestling Uncharted Territory on December 26, 2019. He made regular appearances at Beyond Wrestling during his final year in wrestling. He also made appearances for MLW, House of Hardcore, GCW, CHIKARA, and more Independent promotions throughout his career.
