Kenny Omega is on top of many worlds right now, but with a world title comes extra responsibilities.
Omega currently holds the AEW World Title, IMPACT World Title, and AAA Mega Title. While having Omega is up to the task of defending the belts, the schedule is a grind for even the self-proclaimed "Best Bout Machine."
"It's a blessing and a curse," Omega said about being world champion in multiple promotions during an appearance on Wrestling with the Week. "As champion, you get some high-quality matches and you're the focal point of the shows, but at the same time, there is a schedule that is required and a demand for your body and health and psychological health. There is a demand that goes into being a champion. It's cool to look at pictures and be like, 'wow, look at all these belts,' but then I think, 'Man, I have to defend these and make time to defend these. I have to be that guy for the company and you just count the days and weeks that you're available to do it. It's requiring a lot of multi-tasking. I'm hanging on and I can do it right now, so I'm going to do it."
Omega said he was recently in Baltimore to get treatment for his aches and pains after traveling from IMPACT for tapings and then AEW.
Omega is set to defend the AEW World Title at Double or Nothing in a triple threat match against PAC and Orange Cassidy. He will also defend the IMPACT World Title against Moose at Against All Odds and defend the AAA Mega Title against Andrade at AAA Triplemania XXIX.
