Kenny Omega Is Proud Of AEW’s Ticket Prices, Says Fans Don’t Have To Mortgage Their House Or Sell Off Their First Child
Kenny Omega is proud of AEW’s affordability.
In recent months, both fans and wrestlers have praised the company’s ability to keep tickets at an affordable price despite rising costs around the globe. Speaking with CBC News Manitoba, Omega joined in on the praise.
“We’re sort of like the alternative, we’re not quite WWE and we’re not an indie either, we’re just AEW. What we try to be is the most fun live show that you can watch available to you. I do think that for family friendly shows — mostly family friendly — ticket prices are absolutely friendly. We never skimp on the content, you’ll always get a ton of wrestling for your money value. You are getting a whole heck of a lot of AEW and you’re not having to mortgage your first house or sell off your first child. That’s not even a knock on any of the other promotions or anything. If you want to check out a television product and see yourself on TV and have fun and see what makes AEW so special, you can do it and you can do it at an affordable price. I’m just really glad that if there’s any interest whatsoever, whether it be because you’re a diehard AEW fan or you just want to go out and check out a night of wrestling or something fun with the family or friends, I’m glad that there is price point options available for all walks of life. That’s one thing I’m very proud of with AEW.”
