Kenny Omega Refuses To Do A BTE Bit In New Episode: I Feel Like I’ve Grown As A Person, As A Human, As A Cis White Male

Kenny Omega refuses to go back to low hanging fruit with BTE bits alongside The Young Bucks.

Following AEW Full Gear, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) would reform The Elite in All Elite Wrestling. This naturally got fans excited for the return of Omega to Being The Elite.

In the latest episode of BTE, the show would end with The Young Bucks returning to Kenny Omega’s locker room and pitching a BTE bit. Unfortunately, Kenny would not be interested in doing so, calling it ‘low hanging fruit’.

“It sounds like a fun idea. It really does. It’s just that- yeah, but… the old times five, six years ago. We’ve been doing this for how long? It feels like decades. Let’s be honest, and I mean, we can talk about your cell phone wides and your rusty trombones, your alligator fuck houses. We can do that stuff till the cows come home. But I just feel like as a person, as a human, I just feel like I’ve grown up. I’m not… into the low-hanging fruit in me. I feel like I’ve grown as a person, as a human, as a cis white male. I’d rather not do all that silly stuff. I’m done talking about all this tongue-in-cheek humor and ridiculous stuff. I don’t want to do any of that old weird stuff that I was doing just to get a reaction. I’m just a normal guy. I think people got the wrong idea that here I am showing up and acting like this geek and this nerd on this weekly show. I’d like to be taken seriously.”

While his words said one thing, Kenny’s actions said another as he continued to do his water bottle bit during the conversation.
