Kenny Omega is returning to DDT Pro Wrestling for the first time in five years.
DDT announced on Twitter that Omega will not only return on the promotion's Ultimate Party 2019 event taking place on November 3. In a later tweet, DDT announced that Omega will team with Riho and take on the team of Antonio Honda and Miyu Yamashita in a mixed tag-team match.
Omega took to Twitter to react to the news, saying he is excited to see how much the promotion has grown since he last wrestled for the company.

Omega wrestled in DDT from 2008 to 2014 and it was there where it his long-running friendship with Kota Ibushi started. Together, they won the KO-D Tag Team Championship and Omega himself won the DDT Extreme Division and KO-D Openweight Championships. He would then go on to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling for years, winning the 2017 G1 Climax and the IWGP Heavyweight title before moving on to sign with AEW.
