Kenny Omega Says That He And Chris Jericho Will Headline AEW's 'Double Or Nothing' Show

The main event for Double Or Nothing is reserved for Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho.

In January of 2018, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho co-main evented Wrestle Kingdom 12 and clashed for Kenny's IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship. At Wrestle Kingdom 13, Omega walked into New Japan Pro Wrestling's biggest show of the year as IWGP Heavyweight Champion and Chris Jericho walked into the show as IWGP Intercontinental Champion. In between that time period, Chris Jericho attacked Kenny Omega at Cody and The Young Bucks' ALL IN show in September and fast forward to present day, Jericho and Kenny are going to have their rematch at All Elite Wrestling's 'Double Or Nothing' show on May 25th in Las Vegas.

The Young Bucks are set to defend the AAA World Tag Titles against the Lucha Brothers on that show and there will be a Three-Way match between Nyla Rose, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. and Kylie Rae along with a number of spotlighted matches slated for the event. While being interviewed by Alicia Atout of 'A Music Blog, Yea?' Kenny Omega shared that he and Chris Jericho will be main-eventing 'Double Or Nothing'.

“You will probably be able to see me somewhere. I may be making some special appearances but I will definitely be appearing at Double Or Nothing and that’s [at the] MGM, MGM Grand, and [it’s] fixing to be a big event. The main event is of course myself and Chris Jericho and there are plenty of other very exciting matches and there are gonna be more announcements featuring new talent that I’ve yet to announce and I’m very excited to announce so it’s exciting times because, we’ve got my match which is great but, for me, what’s exciting about the future is giving the spotlight and the stage to this new influx of talent, this new wave of talent that have yet to debut. So I’m very excited for that and I hope you guys will be too. So, that’s all coming up very soon.” Omega explained.
