Kenny Omega Saves Brody King From Swerve Strickland’s Post-Match Attack At AEW Revolution

Omega is back and went after Swerve.

The 2026 AEW Revolution card featured a singles bout between Swerve Strickland and Brody King. Bryan Danielson joined the commentary desk for the bout.

There was a point in the match when Strickland deadlifted King off the ring apron and powerbombed him. There was another spot when Strickland hit King with a vertebreaker on the exposed floor.

Strickland put King away after a third ‘House Call’ finisher.

Post-match, Strickland directed Prince Nana to bring a brick into the ring. Nana held King’s head against it, and Strickland went up to the top rope.

Before Strickland could jump off the ropes, Kenny Omega returned and saved King. Strickland put Omega on the shelf after delivering a verterbreaker to him through a commentary table.
