On the 3/25 AEW Dynamite, Omega challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship at the upcoming AEW Dynasty pay-per-view. This will be their first match since October 2023, where they battled for the AEW World Title on Collision.

Last year, Omega teased going after MJF’s world title. He defeated Swerve Strickland on the recent AEW Dynamite to become the number one contender to the world title.
