KENTA Accepts Juice Robinson's Challenge For Wrestle Kingdom 15

KENTA is ready for Juice Robinson.

KENTA seemingly has his Wrestle Kingdom 15 opponent as he accepted Juice Robinson's challenge for NJPW's biggest event of the year. Robinson and KENTA have been battling throughout the Road to Tokyo Dome tour. Juice's team defeated KENTA's team on the December 21 event. Following the bout, Juice officially issued the challenge for Wrestle Kingdom.

On December 23, KENTA's team defeated Juice's team in the main event and KENTA, after being frustrated at having to constantly defend his IWGP US Title briefcase in lieu of getting his title shot, accepted the challenge.

The IWGP US Title briefcase, which KENTA won by virtue of winning New Japan Cup USA in August, gives KENTA a shot at the IWGP US Championship, which is currently held by Jon Moxley.

Unfortunately, Moxley has been able to compete for New Japan due to the pandemic, leading to KENTA having to defend the briefcase multiple times.

It is unknown when Moxley will be able to defend the title. His last title defense was February 9 against Minoru Suzuki at NJPW The New Beginning In Osaka 2020.

It is unknown which night of Wrestle Kingdom 15 KENTA vs. Robinson will take place.
