KENTA And Tomohiro Ishii Added To ROH-NJPW War Of The Worlds Tour

KENTA and Tomohiro Ishii are set to be part of the ROH-NJPW War of the Worlds Tour in May. 

The tour runs from May 6 through May 10 and will feature talent from ROH and NJPW. Matches for the tour have yet to be announced. 

New ROH Tag Team Champions Crowned On ROH Television

Tomohiro Ishii and KENTA will be among the New Japan Pro-Wrestling stars competing on the upcoming War of the Worlds tour.

The tour, which will feature world class matches with top talent from both ROH and NJPW, kicks off on May 6 in Buffalo before heading to Toronto on May 7, Kalamazoo (Mich.) on May 9, and concluding in Chicago on May 10.

Tickets for all four War of the Worlds shows went on sale this morning for HonorClub members. Tickets go on sale for the general public this Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. local time. Ishii is a former ROH World Television Champion, five-time NEVER Openweight Champion and two-time RevPro British Heavyweight Champion. The no-nonsense veteran has a well-earned reputation for being one of the toughest and hardest-hitting competitors in the sport.

KENTA, a top star for years in Pro Wrestling NOAH, made his surprise debut in NJPW last June. He shocked the wrestling world a couple months later when he joined Bullet Club. KENTA made a number of appearances in ROH from 2005-2009, engaging in classic matches with the likes of Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe and Nigel McGuinness, among others.
