KENTA Expresses Regret About Undergoing Shoulder Surgery In USA

KENTA spoke about the injury that changed his career.
A year into KENTA’s run with WWE, he went down with a shoulder injury. The injury required surgery, and KENTA was sidelined from April 2015 until June 2016.
He told Sports Graphic Number that he regrets having surgery in the USA. He recounted how the injury happened and said he did a move he shouldn’t have, and thinks that if he hadn’t done it, his career would have turned out differently.
“That shoulder injury really haunts me. I regret having the surgery in the U.S., and I clearly remember the match where I got injured. I made a move I shouldn’t have, and honestly, I can’t help but think that if that hadn’t happened, my wrestling career would have been quite different.”
