On last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Kevin Knight would face off in his second bout of the league phase of AEW Continental Classic. Fletcher would defeat Knight, leaving the JetSpeed member with one loss and one win in the tournament so far.
While speaking during Speedball Mike Bailey’s latest vlog, Kevin Knight addressed his loss to Kyle Fletcher.
“Honestly, Mike, I’m not good. I’m not good. I feel naked. Doing these singles matches, usually I have you there to back me up. Usually you’re there to watch my back. Usually you’re there to make up for my weaknesses. Tonight, the Protostar, whatever a Protostar is, he got the best of me today, and it’s not easy for me to admit that. It’s never easy for the Jet to admit somebody got the best of me. But what I will say is he looks scared in there. I can feel the energy coming off the Protostar. Kyle Fletcher, he knows everything. Who’s right behind him. He knows.”
