Kevin Nash Says Royalty Payments Got Weird After WWE Was Sold, States That Recent Check Was ‘Rotten’

Kevin Nash comments on royalty issues.
In September 2023, WWE completed their merger with Endeavor to form TKO. The company has changed in a number of significant ways since then, including the royalty department if you ask Kevin Nash.
Speaking on the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash recalled recently chatting with X-Pac about their recent royalty checks.
“I was talking to Mr. Waltman this week. We had our weekly update. We both got our royalty checks. I said, ‘Holy fuck.’ I said, ‘the last one was good, this one was rotten.’ I mean, it was half.”
Nash went on to say that his royalty payments are no longer broken down by category.
“When I was making huge money in my royalties, it was broken down. It would say ‘nWo T-shirts,’ ‘nWo women’s T-shirt.’ Now it says ‘nWo intellectual property,’ and there’s just a number. There’s no subcategories.”
Continuing on, Kevin Nash threatened to sue the company.
“It’s just, it’s going to be a forensic accounting and I’ll fucking sue them. I mean, that’s just the way it goes. It got weird when they sold… If you take all those guys and you cut that in half and put that back on the books, that’s several million dollars.”
Fightful will update fans if Kevin Nash issues further comment on his royalty issues with TKO/WWE.
Nash recently stated that Cody Rhodes is the best interview in wrestling. Fans can check out his full comments here.
