Kevin Owens Calls Himself 'The Elite' (Wink, Wink), The Young Bucks Agree

Last night, after defeating AJ Styles to re-capture the US Title via wonky finish, Kevin Owens appeared on Talking Smack.

And when he wasn't yelling at Renee Young about which one of them was ruder ...

Jinder Mahal Says He Found Out About WWE Raw Day 1 Segment With The Rock A Day Or Two In Advance

... he was calling himself "The Elite" (Wink, Wink).

No, seriously.

Not only did he physically wink, he actually SAID "Wink, Wink."

Now, if you're not aware, "The Elite" is a sub-section of Bullet Club in New Japan, consisting of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

So what does The Elite think of Kevin Owens proclaiming his inclusion into their uh, Exclusive little faction?

Well, we don't know what the other KO thinks as of yet, but Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks seem to agree.

Perhaps this shouldn't be surprising. Back during Owens' pre-WWE days, the Kevin and the brothers Jackson were pretty tight.

And it's good to know that if this whole "Face of America" thing falls flat for KO, he seems to have a home waiting for him in Japan.

SIDE NOTE:

The Young Bucks might secretly be building a WWE faction of Elite-approved guys to bring over to Japan just in case.

Last night, Bray Wyatt Tweeted this out of nowhere, like he was watching YouTube videos of old ROH matches or something:

And Matt Jackson responded with this:

Before you scoff, Bray Wyatt would be HUGE in Japan. An underrated worker when he's motivated, with a larger than life character, and performing in front of an audience that is super-into weird horror culture (if their film scene is any indication, that is). Plus, if CJ Parker could get kicked out of NXT and re-emerge in NJPW as Juice Robinson and set the damn building on fire, then anything is possible.
