Kevin Owens: “I’ve Never Turned On Anyone In My Life”
Kevin Owens made a joke while speaking about DarkState.
Co-hosting the NXT Great American Bash tailgate party outside the WWE Performance Center was Kevin Owens.
A conversation was struck up about Saquon Shugars’ win over Dion Lennox at the Premium Live Event, and then immediately being attacked by his former faction, DarkState. Shugars was kicked out of the group in May.
Owens would go on to jokingly say that he’s never turned on anyone in his life.
Owens took to social media on June 27th to congratulate his longtime friend Sami Zayn on becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion at the Night of Champions Premium Live Event. Owens’ last match before he had to undergo neck surgery was against Zayn at the 2025 Elimination Chamber PLE in an Unsanctioned match.
