Killer Kross: I’ve Finally Been Able To Be Myself With The Volume Turned Up

Killer Kross has been hitting the independent scene strong since leaving WWE in August 2025, winning titles in MLW and ACW.
Coming off his ACW Title victory, Kross joined Busted Open Radio, and discussed his connection with the crowd and finding himself as a character.
“In the last eight or nine months, I’ve finally been able to be myself with the volume turned up. I feel like I’m at a point in my life where I actually know who I am. There are a lot of people in the world, I’m not throwing shade, who really think they have a good grasp with who they are, but unless they’ve been through a lot of adversity and they’ve been challenged and had to endure suffering, you never really know what you’re made of. All the stories you tell everybody about yourself, you don’t know if they’re true. You don’t know what you’re made of until you go through some stuff. I’ve been through some stuff in life and I feel like I can accurately just be myself out there and connect with people. I feel like that’s what has been happening. I think that’s been the biggest change in my life professionally over the last few months and I’m really happy with where I’m at,” said Kross.
Kross is also the RPW Heavyweight Champion.
