IMPACT Wrestling is bringing back the King of the Mountain match for TNA: There's No Place Like Home.
The King of the Mountain match was first introduced on June 2, 2004. The bout is a multi-man reverse ladder match with a penalty box on the outside. If a competitor is pinned or submitted, he goes into the penalty box for two minutes. The competitor who scores the pinfall or submission is then eligible to hang the title. The competitor who hangs the title is declared the winner of the match.
There have been twelve King of the Mountain matches in TNA/IMPACT history with the last one taking place on April 22, 2016. Jeff Jarrett has the most appearances in the bout with four and the most victories with three.
