King Of The Ring Countdown Special Scores Over 1.6 Million Viewers On FOX

Viewership is in for a King of the Ring special.

During the first weekend in October 2021, several local FOX network affiliates aired a special King of the Ring countdown special highlighting several moments from King of the Ring in years past.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that the special drew 1,691,000 viewers. In the 18-49 ratings demographic, the show was watched by 563,000 people (a 0.43 rating)

Thurston also shared the following information regarding viewership:

For context, hat's just below what Raw and Dynamite have been doing lately in the demo, and a larger total audience than Dynamite has ever achieved. There were 214,000 viewers aged 18 to 34, more than either Raw or Dynamite last week.

King of the Ring will be returning to WWE this coming Friday on SmackDown, but this time it will be joined by a female equivalent, the Queen's Crown Tournament. Both tournaments are scheduled to take place across upcoming episodes of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
