King Trevor Murdoch talks about fulfilling his destiny as the NWA Champion.
Murdoch made his wrestling debut in 1999 and was trained at Harley Race’s Wrestling Academy. He’s currently making waves in NWA as King Trevor Murdoch, where he is a former two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful for a new interview, Murdoch spoke about getting trained by Harley Race and following in his footsteps in the NWA.
“My destiny was being fulfilled. I was trained by Harley Race, eight time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. I had no choice but to head towards the NWA World Heavyweight title. He ingrained in me, inbred in me. Now, today, you see another form of Harley Race slapped all over me. He was the king, now I’m the king. I followed his footsteps and it has worked out for me in every moment. This will be no different.”
