Kofi: I Wish Maybe We Could Have Kept The Sustainable WWE Championship

Kofi speaks on the sustainable WWE Championship belt that Daniel Bryan would use during his last run with the belt in WWE.

At WrestleMania 35, Kofi would become the WWE Champion, defeating Daniel Bryan for the title at the event, bringing back the design of the WWE title that fans were used to at the time after some time with a wooden version of the belt that Bryan described as ‘sustainable.’

While speaking to The Mick and Kenny show in a recent interview, Kofi expressed that he maybe would have liked to keep that design of the title for his reign as champion.

“Yeah, that was the sustainable championship. It was really, really cool. It was a really cool looking one with the wooden belt. Oh man, that was the one thing I wish maybe we could have kept because it was so unique.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Kofi spoke about how he wasn’t sure if he would have won the title without Mustafa Ali suffering an injury in the lead up to WrestleMania 35. You can read more about that here.
