Kofi Kingston has high praise for Logan Paul.
Logan Paul has impressed in his two WWE matches, first at WrestleMania 38 in teaming with The Miz against Rey & Dominik Mysterio and then at WWE SummerSlam against The Miz. Before entering the ring, Paul built his name on digital media and in an exhibition boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston spoke to TMZ about the success of Paul thus far.
"To me, it just makes sense," Kingston said. "When you think about how popular Logan Paul is and even his entire story. His come-up and what he's been able to do in the world of boxing and entertainment in general, it would only make sense for us to be hand in glove. He has a bright future ahead of him. To see what he did in the ring is very impressive. Especially as a performer who has seen a lot of people and has gone through the whole learning process, he shouldn't be that good, that quickly."
Paul recently commented that he has studied tapes of John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and more to improve as a wrestler. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
Paul and Kingston are set to be part of Friday's WWE SmackDown. Paul will be there to make a big announcement following his comments towards Roman Reigns. Kofi will be teaming with Xavier Woods in a fatal four-way Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title number one contender's bout.
Fightful will have live coverage of WWE SmackDown beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.
