WrestleMania has seen a number of non-wrestling people and celebrities compete in matches, but Kofi Kingston has one interesting pick for a match.
On a recent episode of The New Day: Feel The Power podcast, Xavier Woods asked Kofi Kingston and Big E which celebrities they would love to see compete in a WrestleMania match. After initially picking LeBron James to be his WrestleMania celebrity pick, Kofi decided to go with Joe Exotic, who is best known for his role on the Netflix series “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.”
But the former WWE Champion took it one step further and said he wants to see Joe Exotic face Carole Baskin, who also had a prominent role in the Netflix documentary.
“I actually want to go back on my celebrity [pick] because I’ve been watching Tiger King so I’m like four or five episodes deep and I need to see Joe Exotic in there. I need to see Joe Exotic vs. Carole. That’s what I want to see,” Kingston said.
Kingston admitted that he had yet to fully finish the series at the time of the podcast's recording and shared a story of how he was supposed to finish it, but couldn't because his wife was asleep.
“We’re four episodes deep. I was actually mad at my wife because we were supposed to watch four more and then she fell asleep with the kids. So I’m just sitting in the living room in the dark waiting for her to wake up," Kingston said.
