Konosuke Takeshita Beats Kenny Omega At AEW All Out, Pins Him Twice In A Week

Konosuke Takeshita has pinned Kenny Omega in a singles match.

Takeshita and Omega have been feuding for months, dating back to AEW Double or Nothing 2023. There, Takeshita turned on Omega and cost him and The Elite the Anarchy in the Arena match against Blackpool Combat Club. Omega and Takeshita have clashed on multiple occasions since then, but they finally met in a singles match at AEW All Out.

Omega and Takeshita battled it out in a thrilling match. They traded stiff knee strikes and blows throughout the match. Takeshita nearly scored the win with an eye-opening avalanche Blue Thunder Bomb. Despite what fans have come to expect of Callis, he didn't get too involved until the end. He tried stabbing Omega with a screwdriver, but Omega saw it coming. Takeshita tried to use it, but the referee stopped him.

Omega almost had the victory when he went for the One-Winged Angel, but Takeshita countered. The battle heated up as the foes went back and forth, but one knee strike, followed by another with a bare knee, clinched the win for Takeshita.

The victory marked the second time in a week that Takeshita pinned Omega, a former AEW World Champion. At AEW All In on August 27, Takeshita pinned Omega in a trios match where he, Jay White, and Juice Robinson defeated Omega, Hangman Page, and Kota Ibushi.
