Konosuke Takeshita is headed to Forbidden Door.
Konosuke Takeshita qualified for the AEW TNT Title ladder match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door by defeating Penta El Zero Miedo on the May 31st episode of AEW Rampage.
The finish saw Takeshita hit a roaring elbow followed by the powerdrive knee strike.

The AEW TNT Championship was vacated after Adam Copeland suffered a fractured tibia at AEW Double or Nothing. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) tried to hand the title to Jack Perry, but Interim EVP Christopher Daniels stated that a new champion would be determined in a ladder match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
