Konosuke Takeshita Wins In NJPW Debut On Night One Of G1 Climax 34

Konosuke Takeshita wins his in his NJPW debut.

Last month, it would be announced that Konosuke Takeshita would be making his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut as part of the G1 Climax 34 tournament. Takeshita was announced for Block B, and competed on the first night of the tournament on July 20th, taking on Yota Tsuji.

The match between the two men was an explosive sprint, with Takeshita scoring the pinfall victory over Yota following a Blue Thunder Bomb and Raging Fire combination.

Takeshita is tied with the four other winners from B block for the top of the leaderboard, and will next face Jeff Cobb on night three of the tournment.
