Toru Yano got his baby back.
At NJPW Wrestle Grand Slam, Toru Yano recaptured the King of Pro Wrestling 2021 Provionsal Trophy, defeating Chase Owens in a No DQ I Quit match.
The finish saw Yano threaten to stab Owens with scissors, which was enough for Owens to quit.
The KOPW Trophy is decided in a stipulation match where each wrestler picks their stipulation and the fans vote on which stipulation will be used. Yano chose the No DQ I Quit match stipulation, which won the fan vote over Owens' choice of a Texas Strap match.
