Kota Ibushi has been battling a series of injuries since 2023, wrestling only 11 matches since the start of 2024.
He suffered a right tibiofibular ligament tear and a right ankle lateral ligament complex injury in January 2024. He underwent surgery.
Taking to social media, Ibushi said he's down 12 kilos and is doing the phoenix splash again in training. He also stated that his visa is finally coming.
Ibushi is signed to AEW, but has not competed for the promotion since AEW All In 2023.
He has not wrestled since February 15.
