Kris Statlander On The Possibility Of Going Into AEW All In As TBS Champion Again
Kris Statlander is ready to win back the TBS Championship.
Statlander’s first reign with the belt lasted nearly 175 days back in 2023. Despite being champion at the time of AEW All In London, she was not featured on the show.
In a new interview with Daily Star, ‘Stat Daddy’ said that she’d love to be champion again and actually make it on the card for this year’s Wembley event.
“We’re also in the running of figuring out the TBS Champion right now since Willow unfortunately had to vacate the title. Maybe I could be walking in as TBS Champion a second time. It would be really cool to walk into Wembley as the TBS Champion for a second time. I was TBS Champion the first time we went to Wembley, but I was not on the show. So, getting to do that as TBS Champion would be incredible.”
A new TBS Champion will be crowned in a Survival Of The Fittest match on the 7/1 episode of AEW Dynamite. As of publish time, Hikaru Shida and Persephone have qualified for that bout.
