Kris Statlander Discusses Possibility Of AEW Doing All-Women’s Show: “I Think We Could All Hope For All The Girls That Work So Hard Being Showcased More & Maybe Get To Something Like That”

Statlander is not one to lead the charge on things, but it is something to hope for.

On the eve of AEW All In Texas, members of the AEW/ROH talent roster are on a media blitz to promote the show.

The Battleground Podcast pushed out their new chat with Kris Statlander. As their conversation moved along, the idea of AEW running an all-women’s event was brought up, and here’s what Statlander had to say:

“I don’t know (if the locker room is pushing for AEW to do an all-women’s show). I think anything is a good option. More wrestling is always great, having the amount of wrestling that we do have right now is wonderful. Getting to showcase as many of the amazing talent that we have, men and women, is awesome. I am not a person who, you know, tries to lead the charge on many things. I kind of just see where things go because you never know where anything can go. Everything in life is unpredictable. I think we could all hope for all the girls that work so hard being showcased more and maybe get to something like that but, everything comes with the time, everything has its plan and you know, it is what it is.”

Outside of AEW, Statlander is the reigning Pro-Wrestling: EVE International Champion. She is scheduled to return to the promotion in September.
