Fans may have taken notice of the fact that AEW TBS Champion Kris Statlander will sign to the camera and crowd before and after matches.
Appearing on High Spots Sign It Live, Statlander was asked if there was a story behind her signing.
"There is not a story. I just thought it would be cool and different. I'm not fluent in it, but I do know some basic sentences and stuff. I just thought it would be something different and you don't see it often. That's really all there is to it. I don't know anyone that is deaf. I didn't really have a reason to learn it," she said.
Statlander may have shown love to audience on AEW Rampage, but she showed no love to Marina Shafir, who she defeated on the show to retain her AEW TBS Championship.
