The current AEW Women’s World Champion is no stranger to tough bumps, as she featured as part of the first ever AEW Women’s Blood And Guts match. In that bout, she would take a bump onto a bed of nails. Despite the brutal nature of that bump, it is not the one that she thinks is the hardest of her pro wrestling career.
While speaking to TMZ Sports in a new interview, Kris Statlander was asked what the hardest bump she’s taken was, noting that it was a powerbomb spot on the independents that stands out from all the rest.
“I wouldn’t say it’s the bed of nails, which is probably what everybody’s thinking. There was one time on the independents, I took like a power bomb that was supposed to be onto the apron, but the person lost their balance and I kind of went headfirst onto the hardwood floor, and that one was very painful, and then I had to do like 15 more minutes of wrestling after that.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Kris commented on the criticisms of the first ever AEW Blood And Guts match. You can read more about that here.
