Kris Statlander Provides Minor Update On Her Recovery From Knee Injury

Kris Statlander continues to focus on her recovery.

On August 13, Statlander posted an Instagram video where she confirmed she had a "completely torn ACL and lateral meniscus" and would need surgery. She underwent knee surgery on September 7.

Speaking to Hollywood Life, Statlander was asked what's on tap for her in October and the rest of 2022.

"Mostly just recovering from my knee surgery. Getting stronger and getting myself ready to get back in the ring. It’s unfortunately the only thing I can really focus on right now, and I just want to heal as best as I can," she said.

Statlander did make a live appearance following the October 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, celebrating with Orange Cassidy after he won the AEW All-Atlantic Championship.

In the spirit of Halloween, Statlander was asked what horror movie she would star in if she could pick any.

"I probably wouldn’t create my own and if I were to star in a movie, it would be Scary Movie or any spoof because I’m not a huge fan of horror movies. I don’t think I have a good terrified scream for films, so it wouldn’t be good," she said.

It is unknown when Statlander will be able to return to the ring.

Fightful will continue to update fans on her condition as more is known.
