The match started off strong with both women getting offense on each other. Halfway through the bout, Statlander gets an avalanche Michinoku driver on Hayter, and both women were down.
Shortly after, Statlander went for the Hayterade, but Hayter countered with a saito suplex and then a running knee for cover. Statlander kicks out.
The tide has turned for @jmehytr, but she must strike while the moment is hers!

The champ gets up for a thrust kick and enziguiri, but then gets hit by a backbreaker. Some moments later, Hayter gets a Saturday Night Fever on Statlander, but doesn’t get the pinfall.
Both competitors left it all in the ring, but STILL standing tall as AEW Women’s World Champion is @callmekrisstat!

The bout finally ends after Stat goes for a lariat, but gets countered with a clothesline. She finds an opportunity for a Saturday Night Fever and retains the AEW Women’s World Championship.
This was Statlander’s fourth title defense since winning the Women’s World Championship at All Out earlier this year.
