Kris Statlander wants a singles match against Toni Storm.
Despite being in the same company for nearly two years at this point, Toni Storm and Kris Statlander, who are two of the top names in AEW's women's division, have yet to sqaure off in singles action. The two stars have only shared the ring once, as The Outcasts (Saraya, Ruby Soho, & Storm) faced Statlander, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida on the September 2 edition of AEW Collision.
While speaking to WrestleZone for a new interview, Statlander was asked who she wants to face off against in the near future. In response, Statlander said that she still wants to face off against the 'Timeless' one in singles action.
“I am still dying for my singles match with Toni Storm. I would love to have that one. There’s a lot of people — I know I’ve defended my title quite a few times, but there’s still so many girls I’d like to give a chance to try and take it from me.”
