Kris Statlander Wishes Best Friends Could Be Ringside For Her Matches Like They Used To

Kris Statlander will always be a best friend.

Since returning at AEW Double or Nothing 2023, Kris Statlander has still been tied to the Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuckie T) and Orange Cassidy, but the group has not been attached at the hips like the old days as Statlander has ventured off on her own a bit more.

Speaking to Alicia Atout, Statlander was asked about working with Best Friends and Orange Cassidy.

"It's honestly so much fun. I wish that I could have them out there with me for my matches like they used to do, but they're all very busy most of the time, so I understand why they can't do it. It's just always so much more fun having them around and getting to do things as a group together. Sometimes when you're by yourself, you don't really have anyone to play off of, and you can be a little awkward, especially me, I'm always very awkward trying to figure things out by myself. When I have them around, I just feel so much more comfortable, and they are my best friends. We always try and do as many like group outings and stuff together. We are an actual, like, traveling friendship team together. So it's very nice to have that," she said.

Statlander has become a staple on AEW Collision as the AEW TBS Champion while Orange Cassidy and Best Friends have gone between both shows, but are more established on AEW Dynamite.

Best Friends and Orange Cassidy are currently scheduled to compete in a Stadium Stampede at AEW All In. Statlander is not currently scheduled to wrestle. Fans can check out the current lineup for the show by clicking here.
