Kris Statlander Would Love To Be Part Of An AEW All-Women’s Show, Feels Many Women Haven’t Shown Full Potential Yet

Kris Statlander weighs in on a potential all-women’s AEW event.

The women’s division in AEW has undoubtedly grown since the early days of the company with the women getting similar opportunities to the men in 2026. Kris Statlander is at the top of the division as the reigning AEW Women’s Champion.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Statlander was asked about AEW potentially running an all-women’s show and if it would happen.

“I think so. I think everyone is on board for getting to showcase their abilities. We don’t always have the time to showcase everything that we can do. More time to do what we love, there is nothing wrong with that. I love the idea of more girls getting to showcase their abilities. I feel like so many haven’t shown their full potential yet. I would love to be part of something like that, if that is something we were to do,” she said.

Statlander will defend her title in a strap match against Thekla on AEW Dynamite.

Elsewhere during the interview, she commented on the women’s Blood & Guts match. you can find her full remarks, which address criticisms of the match, by clicking here.
