Kurt Angle Believes WWE Will Always Be #1, Says Other Companies Will Always Fight For #2 Spot

Kurt Angle has brought back the Q&A.

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has brought back his weekly Q&A session on Facebook after a one-week hiatus. Angle was presented with a plethora of questions that had to do with topics inside the walls of WWE and outside of them. One of the questions that have relation to the previous sentence was when Angle was asked for his thoughts on Cody and The Young Bucks' All Elite Wrestling promotion and does he think it will usher in a new era of wrestling and Kurt responded by noting that the new era of wrestling is already here.

"I think the new era is already here." He expressed. "TNA, ROH, NJPW and so many other companies like ICW, WCPW and NEW have been able to attain some great talent. WWE will always be the leader of sports entertainment. But other companies will always fight for the #2 spot. That’s a good thing."

Throughout Angle's tenured career he has stepped into the ring with plenty of talented in-ring performers but in his eyes some of his best matches happened while he was in the ring with former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles or former two-time NXT Champion Samoa Joe.

"Zack Sabre IS talented, but I’d have to say AJ Styles or Samoa Joe in TNA. The matches I had with them were arguably top 10 wrestling matches. (Wrestling matches, not gimmick matches like cage match or tables or no DQ). Straight up wrestling matches." Angle noted.

Kurt also showed support for Roman Reigns' on-screen work and credited former WWE creative writer Brian Gewirtz for helping him become a better trash talker. For the full Q&A, head over to Kurt Angle's personal Facebook page.
