Kurt Angle Comments On Recent WWE Releases; Says Talent Level Is So High, Unhappy Stars Want Out

Kurt Angle opens up about the recent WWE releases and more topics during his recent Q&A session.

February 22nd of this year saw three WWE superstars be released and/or granted their releases from the sports-entertainment company. WWE granted Tye Dillinger and Hideo Itami their respective releases and released former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP from his contract as well. Former Monday Night RAW GM Kurt Angle recently gave his take on the aforementioned releases during his latest Q&A session on Facebook and here's what the Olympic Gold-medalist noted:

TNA X-Division #1 Contender Match, TNA Knockouts World Title Match, More Set For 5/2 TNA iMPACT!

"Yes, probably both. You need to understand that there are so many talented superstars BUT there’s only one main event each pay per view. The company tries to utilize each star as much as they can. WWE is not going to please everybody because most of these superstars won’t make it to main event level." Angle noted. "There is only so much room on each show. I honestly think that the talent level is as high as it’s ever been right now. And because of that, there will be some unhappy superstars that want released."

Kurt Angle was also asked to choose between his match with The Undertaker from the 2006 'No Way Out' pay-per-view or his match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21 and Kurt responded with the following:

"I would say me vs Shawn. BUT if I would have wrestled Taker at Mania I would pick me vs Taker. It was a top 5 classic" Angle responded.
