Kurt Angle Drinks Milk, Lumis Stalks Miz, Owens Reignites His Feud With Jey Uso | RAW Fight Size

Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for August 29, 2022:

- WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle returned to Raw, and he was promptly confronted by the Alpha Academy. Chad Gable offered him a spot, and Angle turned it down. When Gable and Otis threatened Angle, the Street Profits made the save, setting the stage for a match between the two teams. An Alpha Academy win would have forced Angle to join them, but the Street Profis emerged victorious. After the mach, Angle drank milk with the winning duo.

- Dexter Lumis continues to haunt The Miz. One week after the mystery man kidnapped the former WWE Champion, he made his presence felt again. The Miz refused to talk about what happened last week, but the sight of Lumis, who was standing in the crowd, shook him up during his match with Bobby Lashley. The United States Champion then made The Miz tap out to the Hurt Lock. Later in the show, The Miz drove away, but Lumis popped up in the backseat.

- Kevin Owens reignited his feud with Jey Uso on Monday. 18 months after Uso cost him his match with Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Owens confronted The Bloodline (Reigns and Paul Heyman). He told Sami Zayn that he was making himself look stupid with the way he let the stable treat him so badly. He then challenged Jey to a match, and Zayn's reluctance to hit his friend with a chair cost his Bloodline stablemate the match.

- (Matt) Riddle got his first name back, and he also received some harsh words from Seth Rollins, who made fun of his divorce ahead of their battle at WWE Clash at the Castle.

- New WWE Women's Tag Team Champions were crowned on Raw. Thanks to a little help from Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah defeated Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to win the titles.

- The Judgment Day picked up a decisive win against Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles in the opening match.

- Edge distracted The Judgment Day so that The Mysterios could attack the trio from behind, but Dominik Mysterio refused to put his kendo stick to use against Rhea Ripley.

- WWE subsequently confirmed that Edge and Rey Mysterio will face Damian Priest and Finn Balor at WWE Clash at the Castle. Rey told Dominik that he needed Edge's experience, so that's why he chose to team up with him.

- Edge and Kurt Angle took a trip down memory lane, as "The Rated-R Superstar" gave the Olympic gold medalist some comedic pictures.

- Johnny Gargano commented on the way Theory confronted him last week, noting that the latter's success went to his head. Theory said that Gargano was jealous of him, and he told his former mentor that he's swimming with sharks now.

- Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss picked up the win in a tune-up match ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle. One of their opponents, Katie Arquette, pulled a "Rick Rude" by appearing on Raw and AEW Dark: Elevation on the same night.

- After Raw went off the air, Riddle and Seth Rollins brawled into the ring.

- On Raw Talk, Edge said The Judgment Day should want to retire him and Rey, but many have tried an fail. He noted that he and Rey will team up for the first time since 2002 on Saturday, and they have a special chemistry because they're close friends. He stated that they plan to bring the magic at WWE Clash at the Castle.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, United States Champion Bobby Lashley discussed his win over The Miz and noted that he's always ready for his next challenger. He stated that he'll defend the title against anyone week in and week out. He said he's the general leading this army.

- Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah discussed their title win in a WWE Digital Exclusive. Rodriguez said it meant everything to them. Aliyah admitted that she doubted whether she deserved to be in the high-profile match, but Rodriguez helped her believe in herself.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Kurt Angle discussed his return to Raw, noting that the Street Profits gave him a drink that was hard to swallow so he gave them a better one. He said it was great to be back and everyone was very welcoming. Angle stated that he was glad the Street Profits beat the Alpha Academy.
