Kurt Angle: "I Don’t Plan On Going Much Longer, But There Are Matches I Want To Have Before I Step Down"

Kurt Angle's weekly Q&A.

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle got to deliver "Angle Slams" two straight days last week as he delivered one to Baron Corbin at the TLC pay-per-view and gave Corbin another dose on Monday Night RAW. In 2018 Angle has wrestled a total of six matches with his latest being a one-on-one against Baron Corbin last week. At the age of 50-years old Angle does not plan on going much longer but there are a few matches he wants to check off his list and he shared those same sentiments during his most recent Facebook Q&A.

Tatum Paxley: I Came So Close To Winning NXT Women's Title, I'm Not Done

"I think for me, some more opportunities to wrestle. I don’t plan on going much longer. But there are certain matches I would love to have before I step down. Stay tuned." Angle typed.

During what some refer to as the "Golden Era" of WWE - that being the 2002-2003 period, Angle was a focal point on SmackDown and he was asked during the Q&A would he have liked to stayed on SmackDown or made the move to RAW during that time period.

"I liked Smackdown." Angle noted. "It was more of a wrestling show and less of a storyline driven show. It was fun."

Angle was also asked for his favorite segment with Stone Cold Steve Austin from the WWF/WCW Invasion angle and he shared that it was when Stone Cold brought him the tiny cowboy hat and he revealed that Austin had recently bought the hat for him at an airport.

"We had so many segments that were funny and fun. I’d say when Austin offered me the tiny cowboy hat. He actually bought it for me specifically an airport before the show. Austin was and always will be one of the greatest entertainers of all time." Angle noted.
