Kurt Angle highlights the impact of Mick Foley coming to TNA.

Foley, a former three-time WWE Champion who was one of the company's top stars, signed with TNA in 2008, and he was subsequently announced as the storyline co-owner of TNA alongside Jeff Jarrett. Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the TNA Hall of Famer looked back on Foley's arrival in TNA, and he noted that it was as valuable as his own move to the company.

“That was awesome. I mean, Mick is such a credential to the company. He’d a huge asset. I would consider him, even though he wasn’t working as much at this point in time, I would consider him about as valuable as me, coming to that company. I really do. I don’t know if I’m putting him over or myself," Angle said with a laugh.

Angle later commented on working with Foley and stated that he was entertaining. He made it clear that while Foley didn't wrestle as much by that point in his career, he was still a major asset to the company, and it was a big deal that he signed with TNA.

“Mick was so entertaining. He was really funny on the microphone. He didn’t work as much, he didn’t wrestle in the ring quite as much. He did every once in a while. But he was a huge asset to the company, and having someone like him involved in the company was a big deal," he said.

Angle then agreed with co-host Paul Bromwell that having someone like Mick Foley added validity to the product.
