Kurt Angle Misses His Shield Brothers

A novel ended at WWE SummerSlam when Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins, closing the book on The Shield.

After the match, Reigns and Rollins showed mutual respect, hitting the Shield fist bump. There was a noticeable gap between Rollins and Reigns with allusions to Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley in AEW).

Angle was an honorary member of The Shield at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017, teaming with Rollins and Ambrose to defeat Braun Strowman, Kane, and The Miz, Reigns was ruled out of the match due to illness.

Rollins and Reigns paid tribute to Ambrose during their SummerSlam match, with Rollins hitting the wacky line and Reigns hitting Dirty Deeds.
