Kurt Angle Names The Rock, AJ Styles, And Shelton Benjamin As Top Athletes He's Wrestled

Kurt Angle calls The Rock one of the three best athletes he's ever been in the ring with.

Kurt Angle won his first WWE Championship within the first year of his WWE career. He defeated The Rock at WWE No Mercy 2000, eleven months after his debut at WWE Survivor Series 1999. Reflecting on this victory during a recent WWE Retrospective video, Angle praised Rock's athleticism, specifically highlighting his deceptive agility.

He would go on to say The Rock was one of the best athletes he's ever worked with, calling AJ Styles and Shelton Benjamin the other two.

"The Rock was incredible, most amazing athlete, one of the best athletes I've ever been in the ring with, I would say him, Shelton Benjamin, or AJ Styles. But The Rock had this athleticism that was second to none. So talented, he moved like a cat. He was a big boy, six-foot-five, and 280 pounds, who moved like he weighed 120 pounds."

Elsewhere in this video, he spoke about working with The Undertaker. Read those comments here.
