Kurt Angle Pitches An Idea To Spotlight The Cruiserweights On The Main Roster, And Comments On If He's Ever Had A Bad Match

Kurt Angle's Q&A.

While the WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle is not acting as GM of Monday Night RAW, he is still continuing to do his weekly Q&A sessions on Facebook. The former 6-time WWE World Champion answered a number of questions that were presented to him by fans and one of those questions had to do with getting the Crusierweight division featured on the main roster again. Kurt pitched an idea and noted that he would spotlight one Cruiserweight each month and that particular Cruiserweight would wrestle one of the top stars on RAW or SmackDown Live.

Inner Circle 'War Council' Meeting, Fenix vs. Matt Jackson, More Set For March 10 AEW Dynamite

"Yes. I think we should highlight each one for a month. So every month, have a different 205 superstar wrestle the top heavyweights on Raw and Smackdown. See which one the fans really get behind and push that wrestler into superstar mode. Then you have the next Rey Mysterio. It’s worth a shot, you never know. Just an idea." Kurt wrote.

Kurt was then asked what was the worst match he's ever had and Angle noted that he does not feel that he has ever had a bad match but he added that there was a Lumberjack match between himself and Eddie Guerrero and Eddie was not feeling too well in that bout.

"I never had a bad match...LOL. The one that I remember was the lumberjack match with Eddie Guerrero. Eddie wasn’t feeling well that night. The match dragged on and on. Eddie kept telling me something was wrong. He kept telling me to put him in a hold so he could get his mind and body straight. It was not the Eddie that we all knew, "the greatest of all time". He was physically and emotionally exhausted that night. It was a failure on my part because I kept pushing him to go harder, I should have listened to him. Eddie was more to me than a fellow wrestler, he was my brother. It was a bad night for him. And a bad night for me." Angle expressed.

Kurt Angle also went over some of his most underrated feuds, the missed "Shooting Star Press" in he and Brock Lesnar's WWE Championship match at WrestleMania XIX, and more. To read more answers from the Olympic Goldmedalist, head over to Kurt Angle's personal Facebook page.
