Kurt Angle is set for surgery.

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Angle revealed that he will undergo double knee surgery.

“I’m having my knees replaced next month. Both of them at the same time, I’m getting it over with," said Angle.

Angle joked that he's going to become Bionic Angle and would have a bionic neck as well. He also said, "I’ll be on a wheelchair or a walker," but that he'll continue to show up for his podcast.

Angle hasn't wrestled since WrestleMania 35 when he lost to Baron Corbin (Happy Corbin).

Angle was planned to be part of WWE Elimination Chamber, but the plans were scrapped. Fightful Select reported in February, "There were pitches that the academic challenge would even be the "Three Is Challenge," playing off of Angle's wrestling days. There were also discussions regarding Angle serving as a special guest referee in Saudi Arabia at the Elimination Chamber event."

Angle commented on the plans, which you can read by clicking here.
