Kurt Angle To John Cena: Enjoy Your Last Ride, A Legend Forever

Kurt Angle sends out a social media post on the morning of John Cena’s retirement from pro wrestling.

In June of 2002, John Cena would step out from behind the curtain for the first time on WWE’s main roster, answering an open challenge from Kurt Angle. Before their match could begin, Cena would declare that he had ‘Ruthless Aggression’ before taking the fight to Kurt. While Cena would come up short on that night, the moment would forge a bond between he and Angle.

In a new social media post on the morning of December 13th, Kurt would send out a message to Cena ahead of his retirement match on tonight’s edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“Who in the hell are you? I’m John Cena. From his unforgettable moments in the ring to his inspiring presence outside of it, John Cena has truly left an indelible mark on the world of sports entertainment. I am proud to have been part of his journey, and what a ride it has been for him. His dedication, resilience, and passion have inspired countless fans and peers alike. As he embarks on his well-deserved retirement, I wish him all the best in the next chapter of his life. Enjoy your last ride, John….a legend forever. Welcome to retirement, my friend.”
